This is the clean, global SaaS-standard edition — compliant with EU/UK/UAE consumer law, GDPR, App Store, Google Play, and Stripe.
It’s concise, modern, and legally enforceable worldwide.
1. Introduction & Acceptance of Terms
Welcome to Zoul, a meditation and well-being platform operated by Zoul ESG FZCO, Dubai, United Arab Emirates (“Zoul”, “we”, “our”, or “us”).
By accessing or using our websites (www.zoul.app, www.zoulmeditation.com) or mobile applications (collectively, the “Services”), you agree to these Terms.
If you do not agree, please stop using the Services immediately.
2. Definitions
“Services” mean all Zoul websites, mobile apps, and related digital offerings.
“Subscription” means a recurring paid plan for access to premium content.
“App Store Provider” means Apple App Store or Google Play.
“You” means the individual or entity using the Services.
3. Eligibility
You must be at least 16 years old in the UK/EU and 13 years old in the US.
If you are under these ages, your parent or legal guardian must consent and supervise your use.
We do not knowingly collect data from children below the applicable minimum age.
4. Account Registration
You must provide accurate and complete information when creating an account and keep your password secure.
You are responsible for any activity under your account.
Zoul is not liable for any losses arising from unauthorized access caused by your actions or negligence.
5. Subscriptions, Payments & Renewals
a. Auto-Renewal
Subscriptions renew automatically until cancelled. You authorize Zoul to charge your selected payment method at the start of each billing cycle.
Web Purchases: Manage or cancel at account.zoul.app/subscriptions at least 24 hours before renewal.
App Store Purchases: Manage directly through Apple or Google. Zoul cannot cancel or refund purchases made through third-party stores.
b. Price Changes
We may change Subscription prices.
Any new price will take effect only on your next renewal date, and you will be notified by email at least 30 days in advance.
If you do not agree to the new price, you may cancel before renewal.
c. Billing & Taxes
Prices include or exclude VAT/GST as indicated.
You are responsible for any bank or foreign exchange fees.
Billing errors must be reported within 60 days of the charge for correction.
d. Free Trials & Promotions
Trial offers automatically convert to paid Subscriptions unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the trial ends.
Zoul reserves the right to verify eligibility and to modify or terminate offers at any time.
6. Right of Withdrawal (EU/UK Web Customers)
If you purchase via our website, you have 14 days to cancel for a full refund if you have not accessed premium content.
By clicking “Start Now” or using premium features, you request immediate service and waive your 14-day withdrawal right, unless the Services are defective.
7. Acceptable Use
You agree not to:
Violate any law or regulation;
Infringe intellectual property rights;
Upload or distribute harmful, illegal, or defamatory content;
Use bots, scrapers, or unauthorized automation;
Engage in fraudulent, deceptive, or disruptive activity.
Zoul may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.
8. Intellectual Property & User Content
All Zoul content is owned by or licensed to Zoul and protected under intellectual property law.
You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the Services for personal purposes.
You retain ownership of any content you upload but grant Zoul a worldwide, royalty-free, sublicensable license to use it solely to operate and improve our Services.

9. Medical, Wellness & Professional Advice Disclaimer
Zoul’s content is provided for well-being, mindfulness, and educational purposes only.
Zoul does not provide medical, psychological, legal, or financial advice, and the Services should not be used as a substitute for professional consultation.
Always seek advice from qualified professionals before making decisions affecting your health, finances, or personal life.
Zoul is not liable for decisions made based on information or guidance provided.
Do not use the Services while driving or operating machinery.
10. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law:
Zoul and its affiliates shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, including loss of data, profits, or goodwill.
Our total liability is limited to the amount you paid in the past 12 months or USD 100, whichever is higher.
Nothing limits liability for death, personal injury, or fraud.
11. Termination
You may cancel your account or Subscription at any time.
Zoul may suspend or terminate access immediately if you violate these Terms, applicable laws, or for security reasons.
12. Privacy & Data Protection
Your personal data is handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy and Cookies Policy.
By using the Services, you consent to international data transfers where necessary for operations.
13. Export Controls & Sanctions
You agree not to use or export the Services in violation of any applicable export control or sanctions laws of the UAE, UK, EU, or US.
14. Feedback & Beta Features
You may provide feedback or suggestions to Zoul. By doing so, you grant Zoul a perpetual, royalty-free license to use that feedback for improvement.
Beta features are offered “as is” without guarantees and may be modified or removed at any time.
15. Force Majeure
Zoul shall not be liable for any delay or failure to perform resulting from events beyond its reasonable control, including but not limited to natural disasters, cyberattacks, internet outages, or government actions.
16. Assignment & Survival
Zoul may assign or transfer these Terms in connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets.
Provisions relating to intellectual property, disclaimers, limitation of liability, and dispute resolution shall survive termination of these Terms.
17. Governing Law & Dispute Resolution
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Dubai International Financial Centre (DIFC).
Any dispute shall be resolved by arbitration under DIAC Rules, in English, with the seat of arbitration in DIFC.
EU/UK consumers may bring disputes before their local courts where required by law.
18. Global Application
These Terms are designed to meet the highest international consumer protection standards, including the EU, UK, and UAE.
If you reside outside these regions, equivalent protections will apply to the extent permitted by your local law.
Zoul may adjust notice or refund periods to comply with applicable local regulations.
19. Communications
You agree to receive notices and updates electronically via email or in-app messages.
Please keep your contact information accurate and up to date.
20. Entire Agreement & Language
These Terms constitute the entire agreement between you and Zoul regarding the use of the Services.
If translated, the English version shall prevail in case of any discrepancy.
